Will a Telechron Motor work in other countries power grid systems (ex: 240VAC, 50Hz)?

The vast majority of Telechron motors were designed to operate within the US power grid standards of 120VAC and 60 Hz. The Telechron coil must be matched to the voltage supplying it. (usually 120VAC but they also came in 24VAC for Nutone low voltage doorbell systems and 240 VAC for non US power grids).
