The electrical power IS an important consideration, but as both Spain and Australia use 220 volts (or so) at 50 Hz, that’s fine. You’ll need a plug adapter. For over-the-air reception, however, it will likely NOT work well. It is true that both Western Europe and Australia use DVB/T, but that is not enough. Spain (most of Western Europe, in fact) and Australia use different channel frequencies. Some of the Australian VHF channels and nearly all of the UHF channels will not be tunable. As one other poster said, it would likely work using video (not RF) inputs fed by an Australian cable provider’s set-top box.
