Will a snooker table be damaged if it is stored in a very cold room?
The general answer for items of this nature is that cold is fine if the temperature is consistent. If the “cold” rood has periods of warmth, then condensation will appear and settle on the wood surfaces creating problems. It is all relative to the meaning of cold in degrees. If the temperature is too cold the wood may crack. And as mentioned above constancy of temperature is important, especially wehn talking about cold in storing wood products.
