Will a smiley piercing get caught on braces?
A smiley piercing will only rub on your braces if you have a ring that hangs that low. You can put a very, very small barbell in a smiley piercing. I’d suggest using bioplast jewelry with smiley piercings, though, to minimize the damage it does to your gums. A Monroe piercing will most likely click against your braces as you talk. If you’re dead set on getting it, bioplast jewelry will at least keep it from making a sound and driving you crazy.
