Will a separate Funeral Directors license be available in New Jersey anytime soon?
Actually, the states that are not yet required to have a dual license (both FD and embalmer) are concevting to that. Within a few years, it is likely that every state will require the dual licensure as opposed to the separate license. If NJ is currently a dual license state, there is no way they are going to revert back to the separate license. As of today, there aren’t many states that actually offer the separate license, almost all require dual or like I said, are converting to the dual. Good luck!
