Will a SATA-II Solid State Drive work with my Acer Aspire 5739g laptop?
Yes you will be able to install and use this hard drive with the correct drivers but your interface on your motherboard is only a SATA-150 (SATA-I) but SATA-300 (SATA-II) is backwards compatible with SATA-150 (SATA-I) so you will lose a little performance on read speed (220) however it will still whip any dedicated spindle based hard drive you can get on the nippiness factor.
