Will a SATA 2.0 cable work with a SATA 1.0 (the 150 one) device?

Yes. Being SATA 2.0 simply means the cable is (supposedly) capable of speeds required by that standard. It is “over-specced” for SATA 1.0 and will work at least as well as a SATA 1.0 cable. The suggestions regarding changing switches etc are ONLY relevant if you’re installing a SATA 1.0 drive to a motherboard with a SATA 2.0 interface and it doesn’t automatically detect the device.

What is your question?
