Will a rifle scope work on a Pellet Rifle?

If your rifle is a single stroke rifle then it will ruin any rifle scope that you put on it. You will have to buy a scope that is specially made for single stroke air rifles. The problem is that regular rifle scopes are made for a rearward recoil. they can withstand quite a significant rearward recoil but they are not made to stand up to a forward recoil. When a single stroke air rifle is fired, the piston that compresses the air slams forward compressing the air and giving the rifle a forward recoil. Air rifle scopes are made to withstand this forward recoil. This does not apply if you are shooting a rifle that uses carbon dioxide cartridges because they don’t have a forward recoil. They have essentially no recoil at all. It is okay to use a regular rifle scope on a carbon dioxide rifle. I don’t now what kind of provisions are made for mounting a scope on your rifle. I think most have grooves on the receiver that will accommodate Weaver type rings. I also don’t know what kind of scope
