Will a red tailed shark be ok in a tank with clown loaches and silver dollars?

I’m not sure about loaches… My red tail is totally intollerant of other fish who are bottom feeders and have a similar body shape. He killed one of them (made it starve to death, wouldn’t let it eat) and I learned from that mistake early on and have not attempted it again 😛 He’s now 6″ long and 9 years old, and has happilly been the ONLY bottom feeder in his tank this whole time 😛 I have heard that in a very large tank with lots of hiding areas this can be successfully done, however. If the other fish are bigger or just as big, maybe it won’t be an issue, though, given your tank is large enough. I do agree with you… these are handsome fish 🙂 my guy is my absolute favorite fish, and he’s gorgeous. My oldest fish, too. The worst he does to the other fish in the tank is chase them sometimes, but the other fish I have are all either quick or semi-agressive too, so I’ve had no issues.
