Will a rainbow shark eat other tank mates when fully grown?

To answer your question, no a fully grown rainbow shark will no prey on its tankmates. If kept in a calm community setting, the most the shark would do would be to chase out a trespasser on some territory it has set up around the tank. The person above me gave some nice specifics on how to care for your rainbow shark. I’ve kept one before, and eventually I gave it away for a red-tail shark, but they are nice fish– they won’t eat any tank mates. HOWEVER– the shark may take interest in a bit of ghost shrimp or small snails that you may have roaming around the tank, but eating fish wouldn’t be a problem.
