Will a peugeot 306 diesel starter motor fit on a peugeot 205 diesel?
You did not say the year of your 205 Diesel motor. The 306, 205 and 405 starter motors will fit on the same car. But beware>>> the starter motor has to come from the SAME SIDE of the engine. Front or rear. For example, this will NOT work; A 405 starter motor comes from the rear side of the motor, and you want to place it on the FRONT side of an OLDER 205 diesel motor…. then NO. I have worked on 205, 305, 405, 306 cars from the different years. IF the Starter motor comes from the front or bac of the motor, then you can only use it on the same side.
