Will a night vision CCTV camera be able see in the dark if looking through a window?
Night Vision cameras have with them, IR Illuminators. Unlike other cameras, these cameras have the power to capture things that may not be visible to the human eye. They solely depend on the temperature of the surface and the surrounding.
Yep they should work perfectly fine, but the LED’s as others have said have a Limited range and the glass might cut down on that a bit, especially if their tinted or such, also another problem to consider is that more often than not the Infra-red LED’s will reflect off the glass like visible light does and shine right back into the CCTV camera making a bright spot that can blind the camera, you might need to experiment with angling it, so it doesn’t reflect back.
