They will read micro SD with an adapter, not all will read SDHC (that includes any micro SD with a capacity greater than 2Gb). Most of the new ones will, just check before you buy, go with the fastest you can find or downloading 8Gb can take a while! The fastest ones are usually dedicated to just one card type.
