Will a kitten chew on electric wires and cables?

Rabbits chew wires and such because they need to keep their teeth filed. Cats and dogs will chew, especially if they are bored. I would say dogs more predominantly. If you have a kitten or puppy, it’s most likely that at one point, they will chew on wires and cables. They won’t necessarily do it their entire lives (though I’m sure that there are some that do), but think of it this way: you’re a kitten and all of a sudden you see a wire move or see something that looks a whoooole lot like string…well of course you’re gonna chase after it and play with it! I would just keep an eye on your kitten when he or she’s playing, but I would definitely get wire/cord protectors or something called bitter apple which deters dogs and cats from biting whatever you spray it on. You might want to invest in a cat condo or at the very least a whole bunch of toys, so it will give your kitty something else to play with rather than cords and wires.
