Will a full size road bike fit in a Ford Focus, not removing bike wheels?

I have a fiesta which is smaller in all capacities than a focus and I have fitted things way more cumbersome than a road bike in the back. You definately dont need to worry. One thing…why on earth do you plan on running a triathalon with a road bike with no quick release wheels incase you get a flat? No offence, but from amateurs to pros, everyone has a spare wheel and the time shaved off not needing a toolkit is vital when youre riding hard and time counts. Besides, arent the wheels balanced on themselves, as in, theyre the rotating part, theyll be balanced all on their own no matter what bike you put them in and when you bolt the tyres to the bike, the axle bolt will end up hitting the bottom of the forks hole anyway because you would be riding it in a road race.
