Will a fake tan help hide stretch marks?

If your stretch marks are still red/purple then yes they will help disguise them but if they have turned silver then stick to being pale as they will show more

No… fake tan or a real tan will not hide stretch marks (if they are now old white/silver). A real tan wont tan stretch marks because they are basically scars, take a look at any scars on your body when you have a tan… they remain white, it’s the same for stretch marks. Stretch marks are damaged skin, and lack melanin (that’s what you need to tan), so therefore they don’t tan and remain white… so they stand out alot more. You have nice brown skin with white streaks. Also, it’s really hard to find a fake tan that will cover stretch marks. Because stretch marks are normally a shade or two lighter than your skin tone, covering them with fake tan will make them ‘brown’ but they will still be a shade or two lighter brown than your ‘normal’ skin. You could try covering each individiual stretch mark with fake tan (with a cotton bud/q tip) first a few times, and then go over the whole area with fake tan and see if that works. But I have to say through my own experience, and I have tried A
