Will a bench warrant show up on an FBI background check?
A bench warrant will not show up on an FBI background check, unless, the nature of the offense can be shown as, necessitating the warrant. In the last 20yrs., the jurisdiction of the FBI has broadened widely through agreements between the U.S. and, the respective foreign governments. The FBI would legally be allowed to go make the arrest but, child support will not necessitate action, on the FBI’s part. The bench warrant will only be good for a certain amount of time. Then, It will have to be re-issued. A person can’t be arrested on warrant, after it expires. The only exception to that, is murder.
