Will a 95-99 Dodge Plymouth neon a578 transmission, fit a 1998 Dodge Neon R/T?
yes they will interchange ,but because of the gear ratios in them you may notice a slight difference in the way it runs,the rt model usually used a higher gear,the should have the gear ratio listed with the transmission that your going to buy ,it wont hurt to change it ,but you will notice a slight difference in the way it runs,i really wouldn’t want to buy one off e-bay though,that’s a lot of work and money to spend on a car not knowing whether the transmission is good or not,and a lot of people have got bad ones off the Internet,and its the time you get invested that winds up costing you a lot of money and aggravation,good luck on it,
