Will a 2007 Chevy Equinox Navigation system work in a 2005 Chevy Equinox?
Unless the dash style has changed, probably. There could be changes to the wires as well, but you might just have to do a little splicing. To be totally honest, I would save myself the nearly 2000 dollars. Get the premium sound system option, but dont get the navigation. The radio appears to be of a standard size, so what you should do is buy an aftermarket model, and see if you can get it installed. The last time I checked, you could get a doubledin (the size of the radio) pioneer avic – d3 for about 600 bucks. On ebay and other sites, you can get one with bluetooth, and ipod control (with video), for about 850. If you checked a local install place they could probably do the install in total for less than 1500 dollars. And I am pretty sure the system would be better. I have an older avic and it is great. Hope this helps.
