Will 10.6 break my RocketRAID 3520 RAID 5 setup?

0

Hello all, I’m running a 4-drive RAID5 (data only, not my boot sector) in my Mac Pro off of a RocketRAID 3520 card and everything is perfect. I want to upgrade to 10.6 but I’m a little concerned that it will break the RAID and I’ll lose all my data. Does anyone have any firsthand experience with the upgrade? What if I start from scratch? Since OS X is on a separate disk, the RAID config should stay intact on the card, no? EDIT: Upon looking at Highpoint’s Mac website, they say the drivers are already included in the 10.6 DVD, but for the external version of my card (3522). Since the only difference between the two is internal vs. external connectors, I think I’m in the clear.
