Will 1 radeon x1950 pro PCI-E card work with an EVGA nForce 680i LT SLI board?
In general I primarily build machines for clients using Asus motherboards, I have used many others in my time, but since I started using Asus I have had the fewest compatibility issues, and when a problem arises, their tech support is very informative and helpful. They back their motherboards for 36 months. Here is a link to a motherboard that will support either a single PCI-E or dual ATI in Crossfire configuration or dual Nvidia’s in SLI: http://www.mwave.com/mwave/viewspec.hmx?… . So for now you will be able to use your ATI card and later if you replace it you will be able to use either another ATI or the Nvidia provided you use the appropriate driver set. When you install your current card into the new motherboard you should visit http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html to get the most upto date drivers based on your operating sys
