His personal nationality isn’t important, although Italian-Americans disagree on that! He explored for Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain because Italy — or Genoa, where he was from — didn’t have the money necessary to finance the trip. Imagine how history might have been different if Italy — not even a single nation at the time — had sponsored the trip, and colonized first! This guy using Goebbels’ name is not even funny.
