Why wouldn the Green Bay Packers trade Brett Favre to the Minnesota Vikings?
Because Favre IS Green Bay…atleast for now. You trade him to a divisional opponent like the Vikings, you risk alienating a large portion of the fanbase for the next few years. Of course Favre will win out the starting job, and Aaron Rodgers could possibly go somewhere else. But the crowd will be ROARING the moment Favre steps on the field in their first home game. Everyone in that stadium, including the management, will be happy they let Favre back in.
