It is stated many places that a fresh water dip kills such parasites and virtually rids the host of them. I’m sure there must be a reason, but was wondering, is it that one is treating the system water and not just the fish. If this is so maybe the best way to think of copper is as an environmental treatment as opposed to a treatment of the host itself.
