Why would my GP want to repeat a liver function test in two weeks time?
There are some meds that require you to have liver tests done. If you are being treated for anything involving your liver, they want to keep close tabs on it. A LOT of meds now have advers affects on your liver, have you listened to any of the commercials they have now?? Oh, it gets rid of your psoriais, but your liver may fail, so we have to test it! I think I will keep my rough elbows, thanks! The receptionists are usually just that…no medical training, & if they tell you something, & then you ask a technical question, they couldn’t answer anyway.
