Why would local immigrant rights advocates responded angrily to the raids when they net child sex offenders?
Those people and organizations which call themselves “immgrants’ rights organizations” are racists, and apologists for criminal behavior. Many of these people are themselves lawbreakers and relatives of lawbreakers, or they make money off of these lawbreakers. They are simply outraged that we would enforce our laws. There is a total lack of respect for citizens’ rights, the law, and our founding principles such as “no one is above the law.” Their attitude is that they are above the law: “the laws apply to you but I have an excuse!” Don’t get bugged about their lack of intellectual rigor and their contortions of logic. They are fundamentally criminals and apologists for criminals and should be fought at every turn. Most of them should just plain be deported themselves.
