Why would Langston write the poem “Suicides Note” (85)?
I think that Langston Hughes wrote a poem about suicide because it might have been something that he may have been thinking about, or it also could be that maybe one of his close friends or family members was thinking about killing themselves. In Suicides Note, Langston uses such a small amount of words which has such a deep meaning to it. These few words gives you such an image and a sense of the setting.
