Why Would it Take Strawberry Ice Cream Longer to Freeze Than Chocolate & Vanilla?
Strawberry ice cream is the most popular fruit ice cream flavor with 3.9 percent of ice cream eaters preferring strawberry over chocolate and vanilla, according to NPD Group’s National Eating Trends Survey. Vanilla comes in first place and chocolate in second place. As a result these three ice cream flavors are often compared and even put together in Neapolitan ice cream, which comes in third place as an ice cream flavor favorite. Strawberry ice cream is prepared in a different process than chocolate and vanilla because the fruit must be prepared prior to blending with the ice cream.
