The Little Giant Automatic Submersible Sump Pump will save you the hassles of having to go out into the cold, wet weather to pump water off the cover and having to drag the cover and water bags out of the pool when the weight of the water pulls the cover in. The switch is automatically activated by pressure to the diaphragm, which activates a switch providing power to the pump. Pressure to the diaphragm is caused by rising water around the switch housing. The pump automatically turns on when the water level is at 2″ to 3″ and automatically turns off when the water level is at a ½;″ to 1½;″.
