Why would I want my thesis to be available in EThOS?
Enabling your doctoral thesis to become searchable via EThOS will maximise the visibility, accessibility, uptake and impact of your work. Studies have shown this to be the case. The full electronic text is searchable by keyword, in addition to the usual searching within author, title and abstract. Once other researchers have identified your work they can then make a request to view the full text of the thesis. Please contact your own institution for information about their relationship with EThOS. Please note: If your thesis includes any 3rd party copyrighted material you must ensure that you have permission from the rights holder(s) to include the material within your thesis and then go on to deposit your thesis in EThOS or indeed, any other repository or web service.
