Why would I consider buying a modular home as compared to a conventional “stick built” house?
Modular homes have numerous advantages: Adverse effects from the environment during construction have been eliminated! The house is built indoors in a controlled environment. Rain, snow, and virtually all forms of precipitation are harmful to lumber, plywood, finish materials. Not with a modular home, it is built in side. Because Modular homes are built “in-doors” all the materials acclimate to the building without being drenched in rain or severely affected by snow.
