Why would God abolish the ordinance of tithing?
• A. God reconciled Jew and Gentile, not by placing Gentiles under the Law, but by abolishing Law-ordinances. Eph. 2:13-14 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us. • B. All Old Covenant ordinances were abolished at Calvary. Only those restated after Calvary in the New Covenant apply to Christians today.
