Why would employers need to know if someone was under the influence of propoxyphene?

0

An employer should know because of the side effects that occur when taking propoxyphene (i.e. drowsiness, loss of consciousness, extreme fatigue, etc.). Even if someone is taking only the prescribed dosage as ordered by a physician, these side effects may occur. For instance, an employer who utilizes heavy machinery in their business would not want their employee(s) who work(s) with or near this heavy machinery to be drowsy and/or to lose consciousness.
