It was also good dice with a bunch of youths from a local village (Tickhill) who had Kawasaki AR50 and Yamaha DT50, full motorcycle style mopeds with gears. The DT50 and AR50 were the kings of mopeds at a time before the Aprilia RS50. Fast forward 10 years, and I got involved in moped racing at the BMF, a cheap form of racing.
