A chemical pH test costs between 7 and 12 dollars (depending on where you buy it, prices can vary from pet store to pet store). Since a chemical test literally uses just a few drops, the small 1.25 ounce (37 ml) bottle gives hundreds of tests. Which Do I recommend? To be honest, I use both! I like the monitoring quality of this test, it lets me know at a glance if my pH is going out of whack, and I don’t have to remember to test.
