Why would anyone believe Sailor Venus would be the Moon princess?
• From what I recall when Sailor Venus was pretending to be the Moon Princess, she was still using her Sailor V idenity which seems to be designed to make her appear associated with the moon. For instance her By The Power Of Greyskull was “Moon Power Transform” and she even has a crecent moon on her forehead. In other words when they thought she was the Moon Princess they didn’t know she was Sailor Venus. • How could Chibiusa not realise Usagi was her mother? Usagi and her mother look exactly the same and have the same name. • I figure part of it was psychological – she saw her mother as a Queen, usually in formal wear and being regal, while Usagi was not much older than her and a complete ditz. Plus, apparently a thin golden band is a sufficient disguise in the universe, at least in the anime.
