Why would an Indian man choose a Russian bride for his wife?
Love in the first place. I have married a Spanish man because I fell in love with him. Does it work? Well, we are over 10 years happily married. I have been asked by many people during these years why I didn´t marry an Indian (as it would have been “normal”), and all I can say is that I had to follow my heart. On the other hand I have spend my childhood and early youth in India till I went to study abroad and I know that it is always quiet unfair to compare people, but I must say that I decided pretty soon that I can´t see my future in the skin of a typical Indian housewife or one of these women who have to work as hard as any male at work and do all the work at home as well because their husband think that they are better and that they do not have to move a finger… Sorry to say this, but Indian society is machismo and most of the Indian men I know (friends, family, relatives) are these typical machos who won´t accept that a woman is equal to them… I didn´t want to marry any American a
