Why would an Anglican Bishop convert to the Roman Catholic church?
An Anglican bishop who is a committed Christian would have to be horrified over decisions in Anglican bodies to welcome homosexual sin and ordain practicing homosexuals. This is an indicator that some Anglican groups have abandoned the moral core of Christianity. In addition, a knowledgeable Anglican would understand that Jesus’ church is an actual human organization, and that he prayed that all Christians be unified in that organization (see John 17:20-23). He would know that English Catholics were forced out of Jesus’ church for political reasons under Henry VIII. Note that Anglicanism has never been Calvinistic, and that the Catholic Church has never taught that man can save himself.
