Why would a school send their newsletters via email and not send them home with the pupil?
By embracing email marketing technology used by the private sector, a school can communicate with parents regularly and more efficiently than they do currently. Once an email is provided by a parent, it can be added to the Lancelot software and a newsletter will be sent direct to the email. The newsletter is only written once using our template and then ’sent’ once to all the parents with one click of a button. Lancelot can then provide a report of how many newsletters have been opened or read by parents. By encouraging the use of parent’s emails, the school cuts the amount of administration time involved in writing the newsletters and reduces the printing costs of production. This also evidences how a school is embracing greener methods of communicating with parents and ensures open interaction between a parent and the school.
