Why would a Nazi child think hitler was saving germany in the holocaust?
While history portrays Hitler as an insane madman the fact remains that during the early days he was a very intelligent and charismatic leader who understood the psychology of the German people and the value of propaganda. After WWI Germany was degraded and humiliated, it was reduced to near developing world status and there was much poverty and hunger. Most Germans were hungry and life was very hard. However at the time there were a great many wealthy Jewish families who used their over seas connections and their connections with the banking industry to retain their wealth and status through the depression and the hyper inflation (German currency was basically worthless, even in Germany). This made people angry because they were suffering but the wealthy Jews were not. The peopel felt cheated and used and abused and Hitler was able to use this to turn the people against the Jews.
