Often when herbaria close down, or individuals collections are donated, previously separated duplicates of the same collection are brought back together. It is usually the case in these instances that as a result of being housed in different locations and curated by different people that these two sheets will have different determination histories. Even if the determinations are the same, the person making the determination is usually different.
