Why won the sour Bonboon appear?
The sour Bonboon shows up very late in the game, after 85%. While some things in the game unlock as soon as you hit a new level, other things unlock after reaching a certain percentage completion (which tend to happen part-way through a level). Keep working on earning awards, making sure you didn’t overlook any species. The sour Bonboon will definitely make an appearance once you’re far enough along in the game.
