Why won’t Serbs let Albanians practice their own religion? Is this a religious war?
The conflict is a response to armed political rebellion. It is not a religious war. Albanians have always retained the full right to cultural autonomy, and were never hindered in their practice of Islam. It is ludicrous to even suggest otherwise, that a 90% majority population could not practice its faith. The Kosovo landscape is dotted with numerous mosques.
