Why won’t my Zippin work?
A few times now our zipper manufacturer has redesigned their process and the old season zippers don’t fit the newer seasons – Ouch, we had no control! So… if you are buying a liner at your local dealer be sure to take your jacket along to check that the zipper sliders work together. More information… We identify our seasons (two Marmot seasons a year – Spring & Fall) with an Alpha system so a letter prefixes garment style numbers (i.e. Cervino style number R4904 would be from our Fall 99 Season – more confusion they skipped O season because it looks like a zero). With that all said the Actual Zipper Changes occurred for all seasons M through R, then again for seasons T and forward. We are happy to change zippers through our warranty services.
