ahh..you have the famous transfer error.nearly all my Sims 2 games have same problem when i try to install them.my drive isn’t fast enough to read the disk and transfer files to my computer.it scratching new disks.what you can try is take out the disk,restart your computer and run the installation in Safe Mode. if it still fail,clean your disk with Disk Cleaner before installing.or rename InstallShield folder or do the manual installation.here the guide from Sims 2 official website. https://easims.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/easi…
