Why won my pilot light stay lit like its supposed to?

DUDE YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!!!!! First off the pump is not working for you heater, or there is a valve partially closed. Basically what is happening when the water switches on, thee is suppose to be a minimum amount of flow across the heater, if not it heats up too fast and can flash off to steam. that is what makes the loud banging sound and is very bad. After a bit it will lock out and you will need to relight the pilot (PS it can be upgraded to electronic ignition, so there would be no pilot to deal with) Give the people below a ring they deal with Glow Worms and probably have a service dept.
