Cosmo may be having a hard time adjusting to being away from his mother, and he is also trying to adjust to his new environment – he hasn’t been there very long, and it can take some time for him to start to feel secure. Please, be patient with this baby, and his brother. I would imagine that you, too, might cry if you were 10 weeks old, taken away from your mother, and thurst into a completely unfamiliar environment with a new person. Thank you for putting the additional details – I appreciate it, and as far as the crying and purring at the same time, though most cats do purr when they are content and happy, they also can purr when they are sick or stressed.
