Why wont my hybrid/coupler automatically disconnect?

The equipment watches for loop current to drop. Some PBXs, and even some telephone companies do not provide a sufficient loop-drop to be recognized. To test the equipment for proper operation, simply unplug the telephone line. If the unit is working correctly, the unit will indicate that the call has been dropped. Some companies loop-drops are too brief to be recognized by the equipment. In this case, your phone company or PBX manufacturer may be able to help you. If the problem persists, contact Comrex Tech Support.
