why wont my games play on ipod touch after i have synced them?

hi i have an ipod touch and i downloaded a couple of games and they work fine but when i sync it with itunes and then go to play my games they start to load up and it just goes back to main screen this is the second time it has done this the first time i restored my ipod and reinstalled the games but i dont want to have to restore my ipod all the time can anyone help.
