Why won Israel stop settlement building in the West Bank?
I don’t know but find it preposterous to believe Israel wants peace when they continue to build settlements in Palestinian territory. Supposedly, the Obama Administration will be “pressing” Israel to back off on those settlements, but don’t hold your breath waiting for that. The Israel lobby didn’t pack up and go on holidays just because there was a change in the Presidency. Anyone who thinks the West Bank is Israel’s land is sadly under the influence of propaganda. edit, Don’t look for any accurate reporting on the issue from US national mainstream media.
